Purpose: To help students with financial need who are also interested in joining the Air Force in order to pay for college.
Eligibility: Applicants must pass the physical fitness assessment and demonstrate academic achievement or outstanding leadership skills. There are three types of award: one that pays full tuition, most fees and up to $ 900 for books, one that pays tuition and fees up to $ 18,000 and $ 900 for books and one that pays the equivalent of in-state tuition and $ 900 for books. In return for the scholarship, the recipient must serve in the Air Force. Applicants must have a minimum ACT score of 24 or minimum SAT score of 1100. GPA minimum requirement is 3.0.
