Purpose: To award funds to outstanding college student essayists.
Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents. They must be undergraduate students at an accredited postsecondary institution and write 2,500-word essay on a sponsor-determinated topic. Selection is based on essay presentation, thoroughness and quality of research.
Target applicants: College students. Adult students
Amount: $ 5,000
